Building on the success of last year’s event, the Paddle on the Macleay is scheduled for September 20, 2014. Don’t miss this great event.
SOMR is planning the 2014 Paddle on the Macleay to be part of the River Festival on 20 September.
As you are all aware, the river levels are very low. Therefore it was decided to organise a paddle of approximately 4 hours ending at the Riverside Park where the Festival is held.
This is just a first notice. A lot of details need to be discussed with the Festival organisers. We’ll soon send out further information.
However, we already know that help will be needed. – Volunteers are needed for the day to take the registrations, for a shuttle service, and to set up the SOMR information stall.
Please contact info@saveourmacleayriver.com if you are able to assist.
